Look At The Asus P67 When You Build A PC
Are you looking for a budget price p67 motherboard that is going to suit your wants? The Asus p67 will definitely do the trick. The Asus p67 comes with a blue-black board (the traditional Asus style) and comes in the form of micro ATX. The Serial Advance Technology Attachment or SATA ports are nicely positioned so that there is no mess created when you plug in the wires. The PCIE slots are placed in a way in order to provide maximum ventilation
The beauty of a p67 chipset is that it has an increased DDR3 memory and core multiplier proportion. Additionally, the p67 chipset provides the overlocking capacity that is a much needed benefit for the game players. This ability of the board assists the users to attain maximum results from their system. The p67 chipset is built to support the second-generation Sandy Bridge processor in a 1155 socket package. It includes 4 Twin in-line Memory Modules or DIMMs and can support twin channel DDR3 of at least 32 Gigs.
The chipset has three PCI (E) slots that run at 16X configuration or a dual of 8X-8X configuration. The 3rd slot is at a 4X configuration. It also supplies the users with 2 SATA 6 Gbs. and four SATA 3 Gbs. that can support SATA RAID. It also provides with either 14 USB 2.0 ports or 2 USB 3.0 ports. And last but not the least, the chipset is also accompanied with an eight channel HD audio with a surround sound feature.
The Asus p67 uses the EFI feature that supplies the users with a user-friendly BIOS interface, so they are able to use the mouse instead of the conventional keyboard. The chipset can support up to a memory of 2 Terabyte, which is awesome. The users are also provided with the facility to set the frequency of CPU using the Turbo five program.
The motherboard is also accompanied with a specially designed polymer capacitor that makes sure a longer lifespan. The Asus p67 chipset doesn't need heat discharge thru fan that may be a great achievement as it leads to noise prevention. Actually , I believe the Asus p67 is a total must buy motherboard for every one of those who are on a tight budget but still wish to enjoy the features of a pricey chipset.

Is it possible to do a computer transplant?
I have a Stock HP a6500f PC. I'm planning to get a new case and a better graphics card. What I want to do is take out everything from the old case and move it to the new one. Could I do this?
And if I could what things do I need to know like what type of motherboard (ATX, micro ATX,etc.)?
Yes, you have to at least know the board type (ATX, BTX, micro, etc.) and you should be fine to put it in the new case of the same type.
As for the graphics card, that will depend on what your board can handle. When you get the new case, try to get one with a bigger power supply (350 - 400 watt minimum, 500-600 watt if you're going to try to game with the new card) with it.
