Computer:

OS:
Windows Vista Premium

What I did:
- I installed the Highpoint card
- Downloaded current driver from their website
- Installed driver, rebooted - Install Successful
- Attached 1 eSATA drive via SATA
- Computer recognized drive - OK
- Attached 3 other eSATA drives
- Computer recognized new drives - OK
- Reboot system
- H for access to HighPoint menu
- Initialized drives - OK
- Configured 2 for RAID 1 (Mirror) - OK
- Configured other 2 for RAID 1 (Mirror) - OK
- Escaped Highpoint menu
- Computer shows black screen with flashing cursor top left

What I figured out:
If I remove the RAID configuration, the systems boots fine BUT I don't see the drives anymore

I'm a novice when it comes to this RAID stuff.

What do I need to do in order to fix this problem?

I had a simular problem a while back, ended up being a conflict with the onboard raid controller. Try updating the motherboards drivers/firmware and then see if it works. If you don't need the onboard raid, then just disable it and see if that helps.
