Despite it may at first seem difficult, with a little guideline it is likely to make your own custom gaming laptop. There are various Internet and retail stores which may provide you with the process for you to make a custom computer. These custom configuration tool website on the Internet are easy to use and understand, but you will nonetheless need to pay for the retail components in addition to your labor to install them. Therefore, here are some guidelines on how to take the initial act in preparing custom gaming laptops.
First, you ought to prioritize what the machine is going to be used for. Will the computer be primarily be used for multimedia projects such as editing or editing HD or analog video, or will it be used generally for multiple multiplayer games on the Internet. You need to consider at the same time the probability if you want to use this computer for video downloads from on the Internet or for watching DVD movies. Assuming that it will be used for gaming purposes, you will need to understand the software and hardware requirements. These days, many of the game titles which are obtainable have become cutting-edge software platforms that need highly advanced video cards, high speed memory, high speed, along with high capacity hard drives in order to process all of the stunning graphics that these contemporary game titles provide. In order to power and house all of the highly technical components which are required, you will want some high output power as well as some type of computer case. You will also need to consider the operating system for your gamer because there is a possibility that Windows related updates such as Windows service pack or special drivers will be required. The first thing you will need is a computer case that will hold all of the components necessary for all of the modern video games. The ATX form factor is the most usual type of computer case because most of the motherboards were designed for them. You will need to consider the power supply which is included, expandability, and physical size. Micro-ATX Form Factor for Gaming?
Hey guys!
So I have a quick question. Is it possible to make a relatively good gaming computer with a Micro-ATX form factor and a micro case? In terms of gaming, I would like to be able to play WoW, Starcraft 2 and maybe a couple of others. I have built computers in the past but I have never worked with any sort of Micro-ATX form factor.
I would like this computer to be powerful and snappy so if you guys have any suggestions on parts or pieces, ranging from MOBO to Case to PSU to GPU, everything would be appreciated.
Also, can smaller computers like these have WiFi built into them using a PCI expansion slot or would I most likely need a USB antenna?
My final concern is heat. I briefly read a couple of articles about Micro-ATX and a couple of people said that they were overheating quickly because there is restricted airflow. Any comments on this from personal experience??
Thanks so much!

the case provides a 80mm front intake and a 120mm rear exhaust fan. in order to improve the case cooling you can add a Slot Case Cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835119065&cm_re=pci_cooler-_-35-119-065-_-Product
the nVidia GTX 550 is probably the best graphics card you can get for this case. the case support full hight cards. the integrated psu is not able to power graphics cards they need more than 1 pci-e power connector.
WiFi is also possible with a PCI expansion card, i.e. this

of course you can also get a Sandy Bridge quad core processor (i5-2300/2400/2500) in place of the dual core i3-2100. the i5-2500K (with unlocked multiplier) is not suitable because of the H67 motherboard that doesn't support OC'ing and secondly because overclocking produces even more heat.
