My PC does not start when I press the power button on front panel?

I have a home built PC that's worked flawlessly for a year, and now it won't power on reliably. It's an MSI MS-7103 motherboard with a Celeron D 2.66. I opened the side panel and reseated the power switch leads that connect the front panel switch to the mother board and it worked. But, now I have do this every so often. Is there a better solution?
