How do you change a halogen light bulb? I can't get a grip because the new bulbs have a glass shield .?
The old bulbs did not have the glass shield across the face and I could grip the inside surface. Now the bulbs have the face plate and I can't grip even with the black suction cup that I have for it.
Break it! (It's no good anyway) then grip the centre with a pair of pliers, then pull or turn it out of it's seating. Hope this helps!
